pranaPUPS
pranaDOGS works with shelters, rescues, and individuals to
take in and rehab dogs who
need more than they can get.
Focusing on anxious, shy, and
shut-down dogs, our approach
remains consistent, though the
time and effort required varies for
each dog. While some dogs can be helped quickly, others require longer.

Below are members of the
pranaDOGS family, dogs currently available for adoption, and
some of our Alumni
Dogs
At pranaDOGS Behavior & Rehab Center we have dogs who are
available for adoption and dogs who will live out their lives here.

Our dogs are in different stages of training and often are challenged
with less-than-ideal behaviors for the remainder of their lives.
They may always be a bit shy or a bit overwhelmed
with traffic or flinch at noises. That being said these kiddos
are some of the the best friends you'll ever find.

We believe all dogs should have their own people.
Unfortunately some come to us so traumatized that
we are not able to rehome them. Some dogs will be behaviorally
euthanized while others - who continue to thrive and be happy -
will live out their days here.

Recognizing his potential, Gordy was enrolled in our Service Dog program. As a graduate, he now serves as a Psychiatric Service Dog for a young girl, where his loving personality and loyalty have made him an invaluable companion to his family.

Originally found on the oil fields in northern New Mexico with her face covered in porcupine quills, Sedona was initially terrified of people. It took months of patient effort, utilizing play, massage, group interactions with dogs, and consistent routines to help her overcome her fears. Today, Sedona resides with her family, who were instrumental in rescuing her, near Durango, CO.

Inky, a big-hearted rescue from a shelter in northern New Mexico, initially learned to relax at pranaDOGS before showcasing his intelligence and playful nature. After settling in, he underwent training as a Psychiatric Service Dog. Now adopted, Inky brings comfort to veterans and enjoys spending time with his favorite people: men.
