pranaPUPS
pranaDOGS works with shelters, rescues, and individuals to
take in and rehab dogs who need more than they can get.
Focusing on anxious, shy, and shut-down dogs, our approach
remains consistent, though the time and effort required varies for
each dog. While some dogs can be helped quickly, others require longer.

Dogs
At pranaDOGS Behavior & Rehab Center we have dogs who are in different
stages of training. Each dog is given their own area within a group setting.
Dogs are separated for feeding and training but co habitate for down times
and group play.

Each dog is run through our 3-step Support, then Stretch Program. They start in an adjustment phase where they build trust in us and their surroundings. Then we identify problems when we begin expanding their environments (bringing them to different places). The 3rd step is where we train and build confidence.

Dogs typically stay at prana 3wks - 3mo before being returned to the sponsoring organization for adoption. Some dogs, who were not able to be adopted have come back to prana to help us train the new kiddos.
