Reactive Dog Clinic

Living with a reactive dog can feel isolating, frustrating, and exhausting.

Walks become stressful, everyday outings feel unpredictable, and many people

are left unsure how to help their dog succeed.

Our Reactive Dog Clinic is designed to help both dogs and their people build confidence, coping skills,

and practical strategies for navigating the real world more successfully.

This is not about forcing dogs through situations or demanding obedience in overwhelming environments.

We focus on understanding why dogs react, how stress and environment affect behavior, and how to help dogs

feel safer, more thoughtful, and more capable in everyday life.

Session 1 - Classroom Session

(People only session)

Section Title

Our classroom session allows you to learn the material without the added pressure of managing your dog at the same time.

We discuss:

  • why dogs become reactive

  • how environment and stress impact behavior

  • threshold, triggers, and nervous system regulation

  • practical handling skills and management strategies

  • confidence-building exercises and coping tools

  • real-life scenarios and problem solving

This session includes demonstrations, discussion, and plenty of time for questions and individualized guidance.

Session 2

Practical Training Session

Section Title

During the practical session, handlers work with their dogs while trainers provide coaching and support in real time.

With only a small group of dogs, we are able to tailor exercises to each team while maintaining a safe and manageable environment.

We practice real-world skills, work through different strategies, and help you better understand what your dog needs in order to succeed.

Our goal is not perfection — it’s helping dogs and their people feel more confident, capable, and successful together.
